The DL251 is a 5U 19″ fixed-configuration rack I/O unit with 48 mic/line inputs and 16 mic/line outputs. Built for digital snake and audio distribution workflows, it places high channel-count stage I/O in a single rackmount chassis for clean, organized onstage and FOH setups.

Designed for users who do not require the flexibility of MIDAS modular I/O hardware, the DL251 is limited to analogue connections only, providing a more cost-effective solution while still delivering remote-controlled mic/line connectivity for larger input lists and multi-mic stages.

Connectivity for Digital Snake Systems

Three AES50 ports handle the (n+1) redundant digital audio interface, making it well suited for systems where redundancy and straightforward routing are priorities. MIDI (in, out and thru) and one Ethernet control port are fitted as standard (using MIDAS protocols) for integration into compatible control and console environments.

Sample Rate Switching and Onstage Utility

The DL251 is capable of being switched between 96 kHz and 48 kHz via a front panel switch, helping you match the stage box to the sample rate of the rest of your audio system. On the rear panel there is a Mute All Outputs button for onstage re-patching, reducing the risk of pops or unexpected level jumps when changing connections during a setup change.

The unit is also equipped with dual-redundant PSUs for improved resilience in live and installed environments, and a 5U 19″ rack-mountable form factor that fits standard touring and venue racks.
